The Bothy

Welcome to The Bothy, a meticulously renovated Adirondack cabin designed to be the perfect romantic get-away for couples or a relaxing Adirondack basecamp for the discerning single.

The Bothy’s aesthetic is ‘rustic/modern’ combining luxury amenities and appliances with traditional Adirondack textures and finishes. Apart from the refurbished antique sinks in the kitchen and bathroom, everything is brand new, from the Smeg toaster and kettle, to the two burner Italian made cook-top, the Casper Queen memory-foam bed and luxury Belgian linen sheets, to the totally remodeled bathroom with its radiant floor heating and expansive shower.

The Bothy has its own Pro+Aqua Elite 3 stage water filtration and Bosch Therm series tankless instant hot water systems, so you’ll drink the cleanest, purest water and shower as long as you like - you will never run out of hot water.

Through the full width sliding glass doors, walk out onto a private rear deck alongside a charming little brook with the forest beyond, your morning coffee enjoyed in peace and privacy, and your evening meal or drinks warmed by a small outdoor wood fireplace.

A custom design day-bed is framed by a 60 x 60 picture window. Find a book and lay back and relax in the afternoon sun. A mini wood stove brings warmth and comfort to cold bones after a long day’s hiking or skiing.

Oh, and you can bring your dearest friend along too: the Bothy is pet friendly.

The name ‘The Bothy’ has a Scottish provenance. A Bothy is a small shelter, or hut, often located in the mountains for climbers and hikers or in remote fields on farms for workers. Bothies are usually rudimentary, so our use of the name is entirely... ironic.
