The Hosts
Annette and Michael Simons are wanderers and adventurers. They have lived in many places around the world and each of their three sons was born in a different country. But, today, they feel extremely privileged and happy to call the Adirondacks in upstate NY, home.
Annette is an Australian born, dual Aus / US citizen. Her career as a film Producer saw her flying around the world shooting movies, music videos and commercials. She also was the founder of the premier kid’s talent agency in Sydney, Australia.
Michael is a British born, New Zealand raised advertising Creative who has led major creative agencies in several cities around the world, from Madison Avenue in NY to Shanghai in China. Together, as the independent consultancy Simons+Simons, they create brand accelerating, culturally relevant storytelling, building exponential growth through video content, social media, logo, web and brand design.
Over the years, they have built, remodeled and renovated several houses that have graced the pages of interior design magazines around the world. Camp Awaiti is their latest exciting venture.
