Camp Awaiti is situated at the heart of the Adirondack Mountains and has been designed with intention, to accommodate groups of up to 14 guests celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas, significant birthdays, family reunions, or simply a gathering of good friends on hiking or ski trips.

The property consists of: the original 2-bedroom farmhouse (The Batch - built at the end of the Civil War), the main center-hall 4-bedroom home (built in 1918 and abutted to the original farm-house), a holiday cabin (The Bothy), a courtyard with fire pit and ample seating, and three large barns. In total, Camp Awaiti sleeps 14 people (in 7 beds), with 3 kitchens, 4 bathrooms, two living rooms, two over-size (and one tiny) fireplaces, two laundries (with washer and dryer), in rooms that will bring joy to anyone who appreciates thoughtful, rustic-modern interior design.

Surrounded by state forest on 3 sides and no neighboring houses within half a mile, the property meanders over 140 acres of private woodland (including a secluded ¾ mile stretch of the mighty Bouquet River). Camp Awaiti enjoys abundant bird life, private swimming holes, dramatic views, tranquility, and convenient proximity to climbing, hiking, mountain and road biking, kayaking and canoeing, pond swimming in summer, ice climbing, down-hill and cross-country skiing in winter. Plus, of course, the hiking challenge of the famous 46 peaks of the majestic Adirondack mountains.

Laze in the hammock or sway on the swing under the Northern white Cedar tree, BBQ or picnic in the garden, or relax in the evening with a drink around the fire pit and count the stars in the brilliant northern sky. It really is the perfect ‘all season’ Adirondack escape.
